GA New Guard Releases “Biography” Video Ad

We recently released “Biography”, which is our hilarious take on the 2017 Atlanta Mayoral election. The video centers on fictional Councilman Alan Holmes of Atlanta City Council District 15. The goal of this commercial is to really get voters to think long and hard about who they will support for Mayor and City Council in the upcoming election in November. View the video below:

One our goals is to urge voters to filter out the fluff, and pay attention specifically to the policy proposals that political candidates plan on implementing when elected to office.

We openly admit that Mayoral candidate Keisha Lance-Bottoms was the motivation for producing this video.

“I received what seemed like an 80 page political mailer some months back from the Bottoms campaign. After reviewing it I found that it focused more on where she grew up and went to high school than it did on actual innovative solutions to pressing issues, said Georgia New Guard Treasurer Alan Holmes”. While my community of Venetian Hills in SW Atlanta is currently plagued by a glut of vacant homes, Keisha Lance-Bottoms failed to include any ideas or proposals in the mail piece to address the issue.”

Currently we have endorsed 4 candidates for City Council:

– Felicia Moore(Atlanta City Council President)
– Greg Clay(Atlanta City Council District 3)
– Dustin Hillis(Atlanta City Council District 9)
– Randy Gibbs(Atlanta City Council District 12)

Our focus is on supporting candidates for office in Atlanta who plan on addressing blight, pushing more government transparency, along with addressing issues such as income inequality, and housing affordability.

We cannot get our message effectively to the voters unless we have financial support. If you would like to donate, you can do so here.
